Union for Federal Government Workers goes Postal

Senator Bernie Sanders has proposed postal banking (link, link, link, link, link, link, link) — and on their Twitter page the American Federation of Government Employees union (AFGE) is promoting Bernie's idea for doing this — even though the AFGE leadership (against their member's wishes) endorsed Hillary Clinton, and not Senator Sanders. But the postal workers union endorsed Bernie (link, link, link, link, link, link). I'm surprised I haven't seen a petition yet asking me to support Hillary for her idea to have postal banking (when actually, in this century, it's Senator Elizabeth's Warren's original idea).

Post Banking

According to the Washington Post, it sounds like Hillary Clinton is already presuming she has won the Democratic nomination. But if the nomination process isn't rigged, how could she be so sure? Or is it just political bluster?

"I would just ask that when this nomination is wrapped up that they [Sanders supporters] come and join with us to make sure that we don't turn the White House back over to the Republicans."

Hillary is using the usual scare tactics to maintain the status of a political duopoly, by trying to get us to vote for the better of two evils.

"I have no sympathy for those who would then decide that they're going to pass after they've expressed themselves because whoever the alternative is, is not pure enough, is not able to fulfill the hopes that we all have. Politics is hard and it is something that is not for the weak of heart. [Republicans] would be thrilled if people who are progressive decide to stay home. They will do everything they can to try to make that happen."

Is she so sure that most Americans would vote for Donald Trump rather than Bernie Sanders? I doubt it, not according to my little poll on the right side of this page.

The Clinton campaign insists that they are taking nothing for granted. Oh really?
