Hillary Clinton: "I plead the Fifth!"

New Bernie Sanders campaign logo

Politicians always say they "take full responsibility” every time they get caught lying, cheating or stealing (or screwing up really bad) — but they rarely pay any penalty for their willful misconduct or horrible "mistakes".

If I was responsible for wrong-doing as a kid, I got a whipping or I was grounded. If I'm responsible for wrong-doing as an adult, I'd have to pay a fine or I'd be arrested. If I screw up at work, I'd get fired — even if my wrong-doing was unintentional or a mistake — because I would have to learn a lesson my from misdeeds. Politicians rarely learn a "lesson", they just learn to be more conniving the next time.

Our political "leaders" and other higher-ups in government (and wealthy people connected to them) are different than the rest of us, even though these politicians are supposed to be beholden to us. These politicians can always "take full responsibility” for any wrong-doing they do whenever they get caught (or every time they screw up), but rarely are they ever punished or fired (just like the CEOs of the biggest banks).

Of course, they only admit wrong-doing when they are caught red-handed in the act. Otherwise, they didn't do anything wrong and take no responsibility at all (unlike all those convicted innocent people in prison — who ARE paying a penalty.)

So when they say: "I take full responsibility" — they really don't. And when they say they do, they're just lying again. (Be careful, don't take too much responsibility, not if you want to advance your political career, or work as a lobbyist, or become the President of the United States.)

Case in point: Those connected to the poisoned water in Flint Michigan. The governor refuses to resign. It doesn't even matter if he was personally responsible or not. The fact is, it was a major disaster that happened on his watch — not to mention, the EPA's watch (under Obama).

How many of us get the same generous forgiveness from our bosses when we screw up so badly? Most of the time, after we're fired, we're even denied unemployment benefits! But these politicians get raises, or promotions, or jobs as lobbyists — and can keep their government pensions too. We just get the shaft.

Or like when Hillary Clinton explains away her reason for using a private email server while serving as Secretary of the State, when rules (under Obama) were in place explicitly forbidding this. She said it because of the "inconvenience" of using two devices. She said it was a "mistake" and she's "sorry". You can bet $1 million that the FBI (under Obama) will never make her "take full responsibility".

Or why Hillary Clinton voted for the Iraq war (that in 2008, she claimed Obama voted for). She said of her vote that killed over 100,000 people: "It was a mistake, plain and simple". She took no real responsibility. Instead, she wants to be rewarded for her gigantic screw-up by being elected as the "first woman" President of the United States of America.

So what responsibility will Hillary ever take if she ever screws up as President? When her husband Bill was President, he was impeached — and now he's campaigning for her. And they both made millions of dollars giving speeches to bankers that the U.S. Attorney General (under Obama) refused to prosecute after their wrong-doing devastated million of lives.

The ONLY time a politician EVER takes responsibility for ANYTHING is when things go right; but even then, many times they lie about the circumstances. Either that or they exaggerate the results — like Obama does for job creation, when half the new jobs created during his reign went to foreign-born workers.

But Obama never tells us that twice as many people dropped out of the labor force entirely than those who actually found work. He just tell us how many jobs were created, but not how many were part-time or temp or low-paying. His labor secretary endorses Hillary Clinton, but ironically, Bill Clinton's labor secretary endorses Bernie Sanders.

Sometimes politicians even defend their BAD actions — like the way Hillary Clinton supported her husband's decisions on bad trade bills that offshored millions of jobs. Or his decisions on deregulating the banks, lowering the capital gains tax rate, the crime bill, the welfare reform bill, the bankruptcy reform bill — or the women he abused (etc.). Instead, she boasts about all the jobs created during his time as President before we had the Dot.Com bust (the trade deals were lagging indicators).

President Harry Truman had a sign on his desk that read: "The Buck Stops Here". But with our current crop of politicians, they buck usually stops at their foundations ("charities" that are used to hide personal income) and offshore bank accounts. There are so very few real patriots in politics these days. Bernie Sanders is the one rare honest one we have, but yet millions of Americans have been voting for a known liar and someone who will never take any responsibility at all.

Bernie Sanders wants to debate Hillary Clinton in New York before New Yorkers cast their vote on April 19th, but she refuses. Why? What else does she not want to take responsibility for? She might as well just plead the Fifth.

Dear Shillary Clinton Sheeple,

What Hillary Clinton, her naive supporters, her lying surrogates, the slimy superdelegates and the rest of the corrupt establishment Democrats don't seem to realize is, Bernie Sanders' supporters don't owe their vote to Hillary Clinton if she becomes the Democratic nominee, because they're not even Democrats — they're Independents — who only registered as Democrats to vote for Bernie Sanders.

Using scare tactics like "You better vote for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump might be the next President" won't work. Because if not for Bernie, many might have voted for Trump anyway (or not voted at all), because they don't want another establishment politician in the White House. They are sick to death of government corruption and want REAL change — not another choice of "the better of two evils". Many people will take their chances with anarchy before they'd vote for another corrupt politician.

Neither Sanders nor Trump took bribes to get elected, and they will only be beholden to average people, not super-wealthy campaign donors.

If the Democratic party machine and all the shillery sheeple don't want to see Donald Trump in the White House, then they should nominate Bernie Sanders, because many of them would rather take their chances with Donald Trump for 4 years rather than vote for Hillary Clinton. It's Hillary's supporters who should vote for Bernie if they don't want to see Donald Trump in the White House.

Bernie Sanders is the only honorable person in the Democratic primary, and the Democrats treated him like crap — so don't expected to be rewarded by expecting votes you don't deserve.

Yours Truly,

Bernie or Bust

Bernie or Bust!

In the 7-minute video below, while being interviewed on MSNBC's "All in with Chris Hayes", actress Susan Sarandon doesn't explicitly say so, but it sure sounds like it's her position — and I agree.

(Via MSNBC's transcript of the interview)

CHRIS HAYES: So, you've been on the campaign trail with Bernie Sanders quite a bit, a bunch of states. I'm always curious what you feel like, what do you get from that?

SUSAN SARANDON: Oh, wow, so much hope and so much connection with an America that I haven't seen. I mean, I've driven across country a while back and I worked in Iowa, but to actually have the opportunity to talk to people and so moved by their passion and there's a lot of independent thinkers in the middle of this country. And to see them give their time and their passion and be so vulnerable that way to want to be engaged again after not having anyone really that they trusted or spoke to them and see thousands upon thousands of people turn out and also thousands of volunteers from other places and to visit those little offices and to introduce him in the beginning when he didn't have any security whatsoever and now there's also these guys, secret service traveling with him and everything. But I really want to be on the right side of history, and this is a shot that we're not going to have again in my lifetime to have a candidate that it so morally consistent, makes decisions, whose judgment proves to be true, but does it at a time when it's not popular, when it's not comfortable, a candidate whose not taken any money from fracking or Monsanto, or, you know, super PACs or Wall Street or all of the farm, big farm, you known, which all the other candidates have. And those are issues that are really important to me. So, to have a guy that's that consistent, that is that clean, is just not going to happen again.

HAYES: You just said on the right side of history, which is interesting to me. I think in certain quarters there's growing concern that the folks that are into Bernie Sanders have come to despise Hillary Clinton or reject Hillary Clinton and that should she be the nominee, which is as yet undetermined, they will walk away.

SARANDON: That's been a legitimate concern, because they've very passionate and very principled. And…

HAYES: But isn't that crazy, if you believe in what he believes in?

SARANDON: Yeah, but she doesn't. She's accepted money for all of those people. She doesn't even want to fight for a $15 minimum wage. So, these are people that have not come out before. So, why would we think they would come out now for her.

HAYES: You really that?

SARANDON: I think there's a good possibility. I talk to people who either want to write – I talk to Republicans who have written him in already. And they just feel like she's not authentic. That she's a liar. That they don't trust her, so what difference does it make. You know, if you're a small farmer and you're worried about fracking on your property. In Idaho they just passed a bill where they can frack on private land, and you know that she's taken money from fracking, why would you think that she's going to have your back?

HAYES: Well, because they make the argument that there are all kinds of politicians, Barack Obama is the one that Hillary Clinton cites all the time, who have done things to effectively reign in industries, or reform industries, that they have taken money from.

SARANDON: I'd like to see that…

HAYES: You don't buy it at all.

SARANDON: No, I don't buy it all, because she's been selling fracking all over the world. There's her talking about Monsanto and how clean not talking about Roundup or what they put in it or what it's done to our economy. and they know that jobs are going out, you know, Bernie doesn't -- voted against NAFTA, you know, TPP, you know all these things coming up that know effect their jobs. And she's not on the right side of that. She hasn't voted right. So, what would you make think that once she gets in she is going to suddenly go against the people that have given her millions and millions of dollars. I think that's being incredibly naive and ecotistical to think suddenly she's going to see the right, you know.

HAYES: Right, but isn't the question always in an election about choices, right. I mean, I think a lot of people think to themselves well if it's Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, and I think Bernie Sanders probably would think this…

SARANDON: I think Bernie probably would probably encourage people because he doesn't have any ego in this thing, but I think a lot of people are sorry, I just can't bring myself to do that.

HAYES: How about you personally?

SARANDON: I don't know. I'm going to see what happens.

HAYES: Really?

SARANDON: Really.

HAYES: I cannot believe as you're watching the, if Donald Trump…

SARANDON: Some people feel Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately if he gets in then things will really, you know explode.

HAYES: You're saying the Leninist model of fighting the contradictions...

SARANDON: Yeah, some people feel that.

HAYES: Don't you think that's dangerous?

SARANDON: I think what's going on now. If you think it's pragmatic to shore up the status quo right now, then you're not in touch with the status quo. The statue quo is not working, and I think it's dangerous to think that we can continue the way we are with the militarized police force, with privatized prisons, with the death penalty, with the low minimum wage, with threats to women's rights and think that you can't do something huge to turn that around. Because the country is not in good shape if you're in the middle class. It's disappearing. And you look if you want to go see Michael Moore's documentary, you'll see it's pretty funny the way they describe it. But you'll see that health care and education in all these other countries, we've been told for so long that it's impossible, it's like we've been in this bad relationship and now we have to break up with the guy because we realize we're worth it. We should have these things. We have to stop prioritizing war – and I don't like the fact she talks about Henry Kissinger as being her "go to" guy and for the stuff that's happened in Libya and other things I don't think is good.

[The remaining few minutes of the interview goes to the subject of refugees.]

"Plan B" if Bernie is not nominated: The people need to draft Bernie Sanders to run as an Independent, and maybe form COALITION with Jill Stein (she is open to this).

"Plan C" (if that's not possible): Start working on forming the People's Coalition Party for 2020. This is what Robert Reich foresees as another possible scenario for 2020. (Reich was the former Secretary of Labor for Bill Clinton, but endorses Bernie Sanders).

    #HillaryClinton crapper #JoelBenenson tells CNN's #KateBolduan she won't debate in #NewYork unless #BernieSanders stops telling the truth.

  2. If #HillaryClinton is too cowardly to debate #BernieSanders in #NewYork, how can she face #VladimirPutin? A reset button?

    Some "leader" she would be!

    1. Maybe federal law enforcement and prosecutors are too inept? The Clintons have a ton on $$$ and can hire an army of the best lawyers -- not to mention all their political inside connections. They are literally ABOVE THE LAW!
