The Clintons felt that Barack Obama had presumptuously snatched what was rightfully hers in 2008, gliding past her with his pretty words to make history before she could. So this time, the Clintons assumed, the women who had deserted Hillary for Barack, in Congress and in the country, owed her ... It turned out that female voters seem to be looking at Hillary as a candidate rather than as a historical imperative. And she’s coming up drastically short on trustworthiness ... Hillary started, both last time and this, from a place of entitlement, as though if she reads her résumé long enough people will surrender. And now she’s even angrier that she has been shown up by someone she considers even less qualified than Obama was when he usurped her place. Bernie has a clear, concise “we” message, even if it’s pie-in-the-sky: The game is rigged and we have to take the country back from the privileged few and make it work for everyone. Hillary has an “I” message: I have been abused and misunderstood and it’s my turn.
Bud Meyershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02065020063363023395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7895164153505105997.post-51503267219793616302016-02-11T13:30:04.665-08:002016-02-11T13:30:04.665-08:00Why is it OK that Obama offered Hillary Clinton th...Why is it OK that Obama offered Hillary Clinton the job of Secretary of State (and wasn't accused of sexism after saying Hillary was "likeable enough), but not Sanders -- especially if Sanders lacks foreign policy experience ... as Clinton claims? I'm tired of hearing from her in my newsletters. As a strong supporter of Bernie Sanders, for opposing views it would be nice to hear from other pro-Hillary voices besides Joan Walsh all the time.

It was bad enough hearing Joan Walsh all the time on MSNBC gushing over Hillary. MSNBC is owned by Comcast. MSNBC fired Ed Schultz the very next day after he reported on Hillary Clinton's support for the TPP trade agreement.
http://bud-meyers.blogspot.com/2015/09/can-dnc-hijack-elizabeth-warren-to-best.html

Last year Comcast was forced to abandon a $45 billion Time Warner Cable acquisition after spending more than $400 million on lawyers, lobbyists, and consultants. Two months later Comcast executive vice president David Cohen hosted a $2,700-a-plate fundraiser for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.
http://bud-meyers.blogspot.com/2015/11/comcast-nbc-cnbc-and-msnbc-endorses.html

Joan Walsh supports Hillary Clinton, who only beat Bernie Sanders in New Hampshire with voters over 65 and those making over $200,000 a year (the top 5%). That sounds like Joan Walsh.

I get the feeling that Joan Walsh doesn't like men in general, and especially white men, and more especially, old white men — and extra especially, angry old white men — people like me. I wish Bernie Sanders could get Elizabeth Warren on his ticket (I would have voted for HER as president). But I always get the feeling that Joan Walsh thinks that anybody who doesn't like Hillary is a misogynist and sexist. That is total B.S.
Bud Meyershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02065020063363023395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7895164153505105997.post-55546530836832400272016-02-09T14:28:20.577-08:002016-02-09T14:28:20.577-08:00The Bernie Bros rule the Internet
https://www.yah...The Bernie Bros rule the Internet

https://www.yahoo.com/politics/the-bernie-bros-rule-the-internet-180426111.html

My comment:

I don’t shame women ... I love women ... I wish I had a woman right now. But there’s no shame in shaming a person in the game of politics. If it just happens to be a woman, so be it. Hillary has been complaining about ATTACKS against her for 40 years, but yet she keeps doing what she’s doing (to satisfy her own personal ambitions) while trying to force herself upon us as our President. Hillary and Bill have always whined like stuck pigs whenever things weren’t going well for them --- as if THEIR problems are supposed to be ours. They were in the White House and aboard Air Force One for 8 whole years. They’ve had it all. They are filthy rich and can have anything they want, do anything they want, go anywhere they want — and at any time they want. Am I supposed to feel sorry for them because a few guys insulted her womanhood in the comments section of a blog post? That’s ridiculous. We’ve got kids going hungry at night, homeless people living on the street, and people suffering without healthcare. There is NO way I will condemn anything anyone says about a Clinton. They know how dirty politics is, and they are playing the dirty politics right now by trying to make Bernie’s supporters look like raving lunatics. They can both go screw themselves as far as I’m concerned. The more they complain, the more I resent them. (Ms. Steinem has apologized.) How dare these women imply that young women who vote for Senator Sanders are simply too immature and absent-minded to understand that Hillary Clinton is the better candidate? Is it possible that some young women are voting for Mr. Sanders because they agree with his policies more?

Although a 67-year-old feminist, I am horrified and angry that Gloria Steinem and Madeleine Albright think that Hillary Clinton should be nominated because she is a woman. That is no different from losing because you are a woman.

If ever there were an opportunity to alienate young women voters, Gloria Steinem and Madeleine Albright are carrying the torch with their bewildering reprimands of young female supporters of Bernie Sanders.
