UPDATE: SO...Lil' Bernie doll of Bernie Sanders

UPDATE: SOLD OUT AGAIN!

https://lilbernie.com/faq/

Emily Engel, the entrepreneur of BX Custom Sewn, created a Lil' Bernie doll. She creates each one by hand. Originally, she was charging $80 and donating a portion to the campaign — but with the great success of the doll, Engel maxed out her personal donation limit of $2,700.

A petition and effort was started to get Lil' Bernie into the official Bernie Sanders campaign store. The problem that arose was finding a unionized U.S.-based manufacturer, which is a requirement of any item sold in the Bernie store. Even a conversation between Engel and Carina Driscoll (Bernie's stepdaughter), failed to lead to either help finding such a company.

Engel is reopening sales at 12:01AM EST on December 26th for a limited run of 200 dolls. You can buy them by going to LilBernie.com

As Engel has maxed out her personal donation, the dolls are selling for $57 — which includes shipping. (And, of course, making your own donation is

always encouraged!)

Source: Amanda Oliver at the Huffington Post
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/amanda-oliver/the-story-of-lil-bernie-is-everything-sanders-stands-for_b_8874804.html

More here by Samantha Guff at the Huffington Post
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/artists-create-unique-sanders-campaign-swag_567b1712e4b06fa6887fef2eBud Meyershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02065020063363023395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7895164153505105997.post-66366416498077396572015-12-26T13:50:25.628-08:002015-12-26T13:50:25.628-08:00Josh Uretsky (Bernie Sanders national data directo...Josh Uretsky (Bernie Sanders national data director) was fired for a data breach of the Clinton campaign.

But it turns out that Josh Uretsky may have been an insider for the software company (NGP VAN) and the DNC — and leaked the news of the data breach to the media right after Bernie got two major enforcements from Democracy for America and the CWA union.

https://www.yahoo.com/politics/the-sanders-campaign-is-taking-their-fight-with-200738611.htmlBud Meyershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02065020063363023395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7895164153505105997.post-82428003757662674572015-12-26T13:49:34.956-08:002015-12-26T13:49:34.956-08:00Seattle Times (December 25, 2015) An apology to Be...Seattle Times (December 25, 2015) An apology to Bernie Sanders: Sanders has his shortcomings but he deserves praise for taking the high road in this campaign and sticking to the issues.

http://www.seattletimes.com/opinion/an-apology-to-bernie-sanders/

* NOTE: It sounds like it's going to be a nice article...but it's not. In contrast, national security and terrorism were only cited by 20 percent of these voters as their top issue, followed by education (15 percent) and gun control (9 percent). There is an undercurrent here that pulls voters in Sanders’ direction.

Most Democrats, according to a recent Kaiser Family Foundation poll, found most Democrats “strongly favor” (52 percent) a “Medicare for all” approach and many “somewhat favor” (24 percent), which is essentially what Bernie is calling for.

http://www.salon.com/2015/12/26/5_ways_bernie_sanders_is_gaining_ground_as_the_primaries_begin_partner/

ALSO: Obama is Right: Terrorism and ISIS has taken over cable TV news

https://theintercept.com/2015/12/21/obama-is-right-terrorism-has-taken-over-cable-news/
Bud Meyershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02065020063363023395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7895164153505105997.post-66359057285565235392015-12-26T12:55:06.199-08:002015-12-26T12:55:06.199-08:00hmmm? do you think this country is now an out and ...hmmm? do you think this country is now an out and out plutocracy or oligarchy?
I wonder , I ponder? hmmm could it be your vote doesn't count??

hmmm, oh yes, I see it now.
