Bernie Sanders' Political Revolution (Music video)

  1. Besides just the latest or the most well-known dirt on Hillary Clinton, the Washington Post takes us for a walk down Memory Lane for older dirt....

After she said in Iowa last week that all of her grandparents immigrated to the United States, multiple outlets published stories over the weekend noting that, in fact, only one of the four came here from overseas.

She was widely ridiculed during her last campaign for a 1995 claim that she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, the first man to climb Mount Everest. One problem, identified by the media: She was born in 1947; Hillary summited the mountain in 1953.

"The job offer to Miss Hillary Rodham at Wellesley College was dated Oct. 25, 1968, and signed by Saul D. Alinsky, the charismatic community organizer who believed that the urban poor could become their own best advocates in a world that largely ignored them. Alinsky thought highly of 21-year-old Rodham, a student government president who grew up in the Chicago suburbs. She was in the midst of a year-long analysis of Alinsky's aggressive mobilizing tactics, and he was searching for "competent political literates" to move to Chicago to build grass-roots organizations. Seventeen years later, another young honor student was offered a job as an organizer in Chicago. By then, Alinsky had died, but a group of his disciples hired Barack Obama, a 23-year-old Columbia University."

Her inaccurate 2008 claims that she came “under sniper fire” in Bosnia during a 1996 visit to U.S. troops enforcing the Dayton Peace Agreement and ran across the tarmac “with our heads down”. (two links)

Her misleading claim in 2008 that she was “instrumental” in the Northern Ireland peace process.

Her letters to a high school friend from 1965 to 1969. In her early letters, Ms. Rodham refers to her involvement with the Young Republicans, a legacy of her upbringing. In October of her freshman year, she dismisses the local chapter as “so inept,” which she says she might be able to leverage to her own benefit.

  2. Bernie News .....................................

Quote of the Day? Bernie Sanders -- “On her worst day, Hillary Clinton will be an infinitely better candidate and president than the Republican candidate on his best day.”

Two of my local papers report on Bernie Sanders recent visit to (North) Las Vegas:

A senior official from Obama’s 2012 campaign told BuzzFeed that they believed Sanders was “considering a primary challenge” to the president. [Maybe he should have Obama was a moderate in progressive sheep's clothing.]

Martin O’Malley slams Clinton and Sanders for ‘poll-tested triangulation’ on immigration [Martin just pissed because nobody is feeling his "bern".]

    1. The Nation:

"Martin O’Malley is trying to score points by attacking socialist Sanders for running as a Democrat." That will only hurt his party." (By Joan Walsh)

O'Mally said: "I am a Democrat. I’m a lifelong Democrat. I’m not a former independent. I’m not a former Republican. I believe in the party of Franklin Roosevelt." [Who was a "moderate" Democrat like Hillary Clinton, before becoming a "progressive" Democrat -- like Bernie Sanders, who calls himself a "democratic socialist", not a "Socialist".]
