Newt dumped his cancer-stricken 1st wife, to hump his future 2nd wife, then cheated on her to hump a Congressional aide, who is now his 3rd wife...and lavishes her with expensive jewelry. "Family values"?
According to Esquire, Newt Gingrich went to the hospital to present his 1st wife with divorce terms while she was recovering from uterine cancer. She had to get a court order just to pay her utility bills.
Because Newt Gingrich earns so much money, as a presidential contender he wants to eliminate capital gains taxes completely (taxes that rich people like HE would have to pay).
But he also wants to kill Medicare and Social Security for our elderly (He recently flip-flopped again and denounced the Republican plan to end Medicare as "radical right-wing social engineering", but I believe that was just a political ploy...one that may have back-fired on him.) and he wants to kill Medicaid and food stamps for our poor.
Would Newt Gingrich represent THE PEOPLE, or just rich people like himself and large corporations?

Newt Gingrich, who represented Georgia in Congress for two decades, retired in 1999. But his 3rd wife, Callista Gingrich, was employed by the House Agriculture Committee until 2007, and she listed a "revolving charge account" at Tiffany and Company in the liability section of her personal financial disclosure form for two consecutive years and indicated that it was her spouse's debt. The liability was reported in the range of $250,001 to $500,000.

Newt called Obama "the food stamp president" because millions of Americans lost their jobs and needed food stamps to feed their families over the past two years. Newt has no empathy for the beaten down, the unemployed, the working class, or the poor. Just the rich.
ReplyDeleteOn CNN today Newt Gingrich blamed Obama for the bank bail-outs, but he also blamed the Dodd-Frank bill (regulating the banks), and said it should be repealed.
ReplyDeleteNewt also blamed the current administration for being in cahoots with the banks and the Fed, when the previous administration and most Republicans were also in cahoots with the banks and the Fed.
Newt was talking out of both sides of his mouth and Wolf Blitzer called him on it.
Newt Gingrich is nothing but a two-faced loathsome liar...but then, I repeat myself.
