New York Times: Yes, 47% of households owe no taxes. Look
closer.
I was unemployed all last year and I owed the IRS $117.65 in federal income taxes. How poor does one have to be to NOT have to pay taxes?
You mean to tell me half the adult population (or working age) in the United
States are financially worse off than I am, and owed no federal income taxes?
You mean, I contribute to the payment of my own food stamps while 47% of the
country gets a free pass on my unemployed back? What gives?
