MoveOn is a progressive organization of more than 8 million Americans.
Only once before has MoveOn ever made an endorsement in a contest for a Democratic presidential nomination. That was in February 2008 when MoveOn members voted 70-30 to back the insurgent candidate from Illinois, State Senator Barack Obama over the Democratic establishment candidate, New York Senator Hillary Clinton.
Now MoveOn members are voting again in an online poll that began Thursday and will extend through Sunday — Vote Here! — Read the press release here.
To win a MoveOn endorsement, either Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton (or Martin O'Malley) must secure two-thirds of the online votes cast by Sunday, January 10 at 11:59 pm PT
MoveOn plans to announce its endorsement decision Tuesday, January 12.
